Mozarteum Hellas Annual General Meeting and Conference was held on Wednesday 10 January with the presence of the Ambassadors of Austria, Iran, Kazakhstan and Türkiye
The Assembly elected the new board of directors namely:
-Evgenia Votanopoulou, President
-Nina Patrikidou, Vice President
-Dr Kostas Iatrou, Secretary General
-Panagiota Votanopoulou, Treasurer
-Prof Andreas Papatheodorou, Member
for the period 2024-27.
In her opening the President of Mozarteum Hellas, Evgenia Votanopoulou, welcomed the distinguished guests and Mozarteum members and expressed her gratitude to those who have supported Mozarteum Hellas during 2023 one of the most successful years!
Dr Kostas Iatrou, Secretary General of Mozarteum Hellas presented the report for the first five years of the association.
HE Gerda Vogl thanked Mozarteum Hellas for their work in bringing to a wider audience in Greece the music, life and personality of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart, thus helping to build even stronger links between the people of Austria and Greece. She underlined the readiness of the Austrian Embassy to continue the close cooperation with Mozarteum Hellas.
Mozarteum Hellas member Konstantina Gyfroula, pianist performed Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331.
Mozarteum Hellas welcomed 6 new members.
Finally the event concluded with the traditional pitta cut.
