Mozarteum Hellas, represented by its President Evgenia Votanopoulou, and Mozartgemeide Wien, represented by its president SenR Dr. Wolfgang Gerold, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Saturday 8th April in Athens aiming at strengthening cooperation and exchange of ideas. 

Mrs Votanopoulou thanked Dr Gerold for the cooperation and Dr Gerold thanked for the invitation.   

Philipp Wassermann, Deputy Head of Mission of the Austrian Embassy, expressed his gratitude for  the “promotion of Austrian culture in Greece” and expressed his certainty that this MoU will establish “a close and fruitful cooperation”. 

The event was followed by a concert of mostly Austrian composers: E. Votanopolou on the piano, Nina Patrikidou on the violin while Marina Rechkalova and Dr Gerold rejoiced attendants with their singing.
